Project Description

Playing our part to make the NHS better

The brief
Bring three business units in one NHS trust together, united behind one strong and distinctive brand. Drive a more commercial culture to allow us to compete while retaining a social heart. Create a strategy to embed that brand and culture amongst our 2000 strong workforce that we can deliver ourselves.

How we did it
An extensive organisation-wide research and consultancy project influencing stakeholders at the highest level, leading to the development of a brand positioning and a framework for culture stemming from the values. The emphasis was very much on enabling NEP to manage its own brand and communications. As such we created tools, processes, guides and creative collateral with a view to being owned and managed by NEP.

The results
Mike Chapman, Director of Strategy North Essex Partnership Foundation Trust said:

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Woodreed to help shape our culture, our values and our brand. From the outset, Woodreed were able to engage with our whole Board to help us to clarify our direction and our narrative story as an organisation. The quality of both their analysis and presentation has been second to none and we now not only have a set of agreed values, but also associated expected behaviours which everyone is signed up to. The values we have agreed resonate across our organisation and will underpin our new five year strategy. I would recommend Woodreed to any organisation looking to refresh its culture and its brand without hesitation
